Student Icebreaker Activity
Create or curate an icebreaker activity for your students to open a discussion on digital citizenship. Make sure your discussion is age appropriate and follows the ISTE standards for digital citizenship for students.
Design or find a mini digital citizenship ice breaker for your class.
If your class is a blended or in person class, make this activity in person and active! Example: Have students line up in a line whether they LOVE or STRONGLY DISLIKE different social media platforms, students move along the line depending which platform you shout out.
If your class is an online class, provide an ice breaker discussion or assignment that will promote students to get to know one another and work together. Example: Assign each student a video interview of another student and ask them to tell about what digital citizenship means to them.
Submit your ice breaker document by clicking on the "submit assignment" button. Please be sure to include how and when you will do this activity in your class. And remember, no fair stealing the examples. ;-)
Please consider this week's discussion question and then post your response. Also, you will need to respond to two of your fellow educator's posts.
Can't change a rubric once you've started using it.
