Write a lesson/activity plan where you will be teaching about digital citizenship in your classroom. Be sure that students are asked to create a project or example to demonstrate their learning.
Use the UEN Lesson Plan tool as a framework for your lesson. Use the rubric tool from the Assessment tab within the lesson plan tool to help guide students and aid you in grading. (See the tutorial below if you are new to the lesson plan tool.)
When creating your lesson plan in the UEN Lesson Plan tool please at least do the following under each tab (you may do more if that makes sense for your lesson:
Summary (of your lesson)
Curriculum Tie (find where this will fit into the specific curriculum you teach)
Background for Teachers (some articles, information, or videos that you find helpful/relevant for teaching this lesson.
Instructional Procedures (What will the teacher do and what will the students do?)
Either create an assessment plan or attach a rubric. Please be aware that the rubric tool has been a little difficult when it comes to attaching to specific lesson plans lately. If it doesn't work, simply screen shot your rubric and attach it to your submission in canvas. Don't stress too much about it.
