Assignment #5: Roman Influence on the Modern World/Characteristics of Empires (20 points) successful completion = 16/20 NOTE: You may work in a group of 4 or less!

Directions: Using the How Rome Inspires us Today infographic or the History.com website, choose 1 Roman achievement and complete a short Google presentation. Focus on the 5 W's (Who, What, Where, When and Why) on each of 5 slides. On the 6th and final slide, place the Roman achievement into at least one (1) of the characteristics of empires and include a short explanation of why you chose that characteristic.

For example, the Roman census would go with "Empires create bureaucratic administrations..." because a census is administered by the government for a population count, voting and taxing purposes.
